For a very important date!
Well not if you remember to send Save the Dates to everyone you're inviting to your wedding! :-) Cheesy I know. Save the dates were something that I was very hell bent on ordering and sending out. At first Andrew didn't think we needed them and didn't understand the extra wedding cost, but I quickly convinced him we needed them. My co-worker sent me a link to Magnet Street Weddings where she ordered her Save the Date magnets. I immediately fell in love with all of the options and the fact it gave you the ability to customize each magnet design to any color and font you wanted. The main reason I wanted engagement pictures was for this item (and because I LOVE photos, I have them framed all over my house - its the whole having to document every part of my life desire that encouraged me to want them). After we got our engagement photos, which I blogged about here, I played around with the editor on Magnet Street and designed our Save the Date magnet. I designed two that I loved, so I sent them off to Andrew and this was the one we choose:
The four photos we choose were our favorites, with the lighthouse picture as the number one fav. We are getting married in front of a lighthouse in Manteo, so we wanted to tie the theme in all around. These were the first announcements our family and friends received from us. I think they came about fabulously! What do you think?
